About Me

Hello! My name is Jessica Mares and I am a Speech Language Pathologist at Fort Sam Houston ISD. I was a classroom teacher for 10 years (B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies at UT San Antonio) before earning my Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology (Texas Woman's University). I have been in education for a VERY long time (over 20 years). I am married and have 4 children. I am a San Antonio native so I can tell you where to get the best Tex-Mex food and where to find fun Fiesta events! I look forward to working with the staff, students and families at Fort Sam Houston Elementary. Go Cougar Cubs!
