About me!

My name is Mrs. Maria Calderon. I am originally from Indiana, relocated to San Antonio 8 years ago and it is the BEST decision I've ever made for my family!

I feel so blessed to have graduated from Texas A&M University and become a teacher in 2023. It is a true blessing to get to do what I do and to work at the FSH Military Coop! I love to learn and my determination is endless, so where I am is where I belong!

My passion for children is so immense, as I have five of my own, ranging in ages from 29 years old to my youngest being 8 years old. I don't have much experience "teaching a curriculum", but I have a lot of love and nurture to make all children feel safe and comfortable enough to allow me to teach them a curriculum. Just in my short years of teaching, I've learned that I still have a lot to learn and I am always ready... just be patient with me and I will get it! It is all about the STUDENTS and I am their voice!
