Hello, I am Chiara Hunter. I am a Military Spouse and a mom. I have been blessed to travel a lot with my family due to my husband’s job. We have been in San Antonio for four years. I graduated from Purdue University with a Master in Human Services with an emphasis in Children and Adolescents Welfare and I am currently attending my last year of my Master in Human Services Counseling at Liberty University. I have been involved with children's welfare since 2014 when I moved to South Korea and I volunteered for a local orphanage. At the beginning, I was only working day shifts. I then extended my volunteer work to teaching English and Italian. When I moved to Germany, I worked for an adolescent center. Upon our relocation to the USA, I started subbing at Fort Sam Houston ISD. I have been a Special Education Paraeducator for the last three years. I consider Fort Sam Houston my extended family. It is my honor and privilege to serve the military community and their children. I still continue my volunteer work throughout our community.
